A traditional Walima (Walimah) at Saltcote Place is a perfect way to celebrate your special day. Done well it is a magnificent way to incorporate your heritage, and personalize your Wedding Celebration.

Saltcote Place is around an hour from London on the fast trains.
Saltcote Place provides the ideal setting for reception drinks and canapés, ceremonies and banquets indoors for up to 48. The marquee on the main lawns adjacent to the main house is the perfect place for larger receptions of up to 250.
When using our Catering team you will enjoy a Marquee with a fully integrated kitchen facility, luxury restrooms and bar if needed.
At Saltcote Place we are flexible. We may permit external catering teams, (subject to statutory regulation checks and approval). We do have our recommended tried and tested Asian caterers if you wish to offer your guests specialist regional cuisine.
Saltcote Place may charge corkage on drinks brought in to the venue. Extended hire periods are available as needed subject to agreement.
What we offer
We offer an all-inclusive venue hire for any event which includes a Friday or Saturday throughout the year. which includes:
Sole use of the ground floor rooms for the reception plus the terrace & gardens.
We do hold the license for civil weddings in Saltcote Place
Extensive free parking on site.
Please note that crockery, glassware, and cutlery are not provided if you are using your own catering team, table linen and napkins is usually provided by the catering company.
To ensure the smooth running of your day it is essential that a comprehensive catering plan is in place well in advance. We will insist that all health and safety regulations are observed to the highest standard.
We will ensure your catering and other suppliers are well looked after.
