One of the most touching gestures we witnessed at Saltcote Place was remarkably simple, yet it moved many to tears. We owe a debt of gratitude to M and D, who poured so much warmth and love into their wedding favors.
As the final preparations were being made in the marquee and our couple exchanged vows at St. Michael’s Church nearby, several staff members couldn’t help but shed tears of joy while carefully arranging the tables.
Over the course of 18 months leading up to the wedding, our wonderful couple took the time to share drinks and meals with their invited friends, capturing precious moments along the way. In some instances, they even scoured Facebook pages and revisited images from past family gatherings.
An individual photograph of each guest was printed onto a postcard and thoughtfully placed at their designated seat.
On the flip side of the card, a heartfelt handwritten message from the bride and groom awaited each guest. In these notes, they explained why they had extended the invitation and expressed just how significant each guest was to the celebration.
This meaningful gesture required only a small investment of enjoyable time, recognizing that time itself is one of the most precious gifts of all.
Favours do not have to be glitzy or expensive to be very special.
